What is AROSE Comics?

AROSE Comics, is a digital comic publication started from the indie comic book artist Ashley Rose. It is an indie publication that is solely for the assistance in helping new artist and writers get credited work. The publication was started with the intention of helping the development of talent for comics.

AROSE Comics will never own or copyright any characters. If you choose to use characters that were featured in your submission with us you will be allowed to keep the rights.

 

Does AROSE hire writers and artists to produce its comics?

No we do not directly hire. All submissions are sent in by different writers/artist/inkers/colorist/letterers, we do not set up teams and all submissions are credited but AROSE Comics will never own or copyright your characters.

 

Does AROSE accept proposals for new comics?

Currently, we are only accepting anthology stories that are 1 to 6 pages long. We are currently not accepting any series.

 

Who decides which submissions get approved?

We have a group of editors that views all the submissions. However, we are very open and accepting to all art forms. If there is an issue with the submission, the editor would advise you on how to correct it. This will usually be the file type or clarity of the file for the Digital Publication. SO do not worry!

 

Will someone reply to my submission?

Yes, you will receive a reply usually in a few days or 1 week the longest.

 

Will my submission be returned?

No your submission will not be returned. We only accept digital files for this reason. We will never ask you for the original artwork.

 

How do I know if my submission got there?

We will contact you once it has been viewed.

 

Should I follow up?

Please do not. We will contact you with a simple yes or no.

 

What if I only write and I don’t have an artist?

Sorry, AROSE Comics does not put together teams for production or submissions.

 

How does publishing a comic through AROSE work?

Easy! Send in your 1-6 page completed (penciled, inked, and lettered) pages to us via email. An editor will view your work and contact you. All work is submitted with intention of getting your name out there and helping you as an aspiring artist.

 

Payment? Everyone wants to know!

Sorry love, no payment is issued for this digital comic publication. We are only here to help assist you with having credited work.
